The editorial policy of the journalThe editorial policy of the journal and the updated review procedure were approved by the decision of the Editorial Board of the journal «Bulletin of Karaganda University. Philology Series» (Protocol No. 2 of 25.05.2020).

Purpose and tasks:  the publishing policy of the Philology series is aimed at publishing scientific articles of domestic researchers, as well as scientists from near and far abroad on current and priority areas of philological science that have scientific and practical value. The journal is a scientific platform for testing the results of research by young scientists. 

One of the tasks of the journal is to attract domestic and foreign scientists to discuss issues related to the language policy of the Republic, spiritual modernization of Kazakhstan. To do this, in our series entered regular column "Rouhani jangyru".

Materials and reports, reviews and bibliographic reviews, reports on conferences and round tables on the philological profile are accepted for publication.

Articles are published in Kazakh, Russian and English.

The thematic focus of the journal is determined by its headings: Rukhanizhangyru, Topical issues of linguistics and literary studies, Modern approaches in philological education, Journalism.

The process of review articles

All manuscripts submitted to the journal are double-blind reviewed.  Our reviewers are reputable scientists-philologists, known in Kazakhstan and abroad. Two reviewers with experience in the subject area evaluate the research for 3 weeks. If reviewers have comments, authors must respond to them within 2 weeks.

The decision to publish is based on the relevance of the problem under consideration, the reliability of the results obtained, the scientific significance and a high degree of originality of the study.  According to the journal's policy, all articles submitted to the editorial Board are mandatory checked for the correctness of borrowings on the site at the initial stage of acceptance https://ksu-kz.antiplagiat.ru.Editors make the final decision according to plagiarism reports. If plagiarism is detected or technical techniques are found to hide its presence, the articles are not accepted for further consideration. All responsibility of manuscripts on ethical issues belongs to the authors.
