Abstract

The article discusses the paradigm of the polynomial verb “to show”, which belongs to a polysemous lexeme. The dictionary gives several of its meanings. The suffix -t can be confused with a different verb suffix, depending on the morphological feature. Here, firstly, we note that the verb modification system has its own order, and secondly, we note that although the Kazakh language is an agglutinative language, homonymous suffixes are found. On this basis, the scientific article analyzes the verb “to show”. In the course of the study, methods of comparison, analysis, and compilation were used. As a result, other cases of using the verb “to show”, in addition to the five meanings indicated in the Explanatory Dictionary of the Kazakh Language, were fully disclosed, clarified and theoretically proven.
