Abstract

The article highlighted the problem of modality in Kazakh linguistics in the morphosyntactic aspect. The article aims to determine the diversity of the modal category based on world-class scientific research. As a result, modal units in linguistics, including in the Kazakh language, are generalized, their semantic nature, structure and method of creation are presented in a new way. In particular, the inclusion of the word “esepti” by applicants in the linguistic range and the formation of its modal image helps to recognize the article as scientific novelty. The practical value of the article is determined by the presented examples and their
comparative tables with classical works: M. Auezov’s epic “The Path of Abai”, I. Yesenberlin’s trilogy “Nomads”, Sh. Murtaza’s novel “Red Arrow”. And the research methods are generalization and sorting of these examples; differentiation and approval of scientific conclusions in the Kazakh language and other linguistic knowledge and their theoretical analysis. Scientific and theoretical conclusions and opinions in Russian, common Turkic and Kazakh linguistics show that the problem involved in the topic differs in comparative method.
