Ethnolinguistic nature of riddles in Kazakh and Chinese languages

Abstract

Riddle is an ancient genre expressing the rich experience of folk life, aesthetic and ethical view of the world. To describe the nature of the riddle, long shrouded in the existence of the people, passed down from generation to generation, it is necessary first to deeply understand the national worldview. Thanks to the diverse information that is found in the process of solving riddles, a person improves his knowledge and thought process. The main purpose of this article is an ethnolinguistic description of riddles with proper names in Kazakh and Chinese languages. The methods of differentiation, classification and systematization of
sources and materials in the Kazakh and Chinese languages were used as a research method. The results of the research work showed that the problem of analyzing proper names in the structure of Kazakh and Chinese riddles is closely related to understanding the specifics of proper names, with national mentality, knowledge determined by intercultural communication, with the designation of folklore features. Proper names have their own characteristics in each nation. Proper names are found in riddles, as well as in proverbs and phraseological units. They also manifest themselves in overflowing figurative, derivative and symbolic
meanings.
